It's all fun until someone loses an eye.

Was hooting along a track yesterday when my ambition got ahead of my ability.
I lost the back end and ended up facing a very large rock, hard on the gas, sideways across the track.
As tried to avoid the rock, I was flipped off and landed in the bushes like this.
Getting up.


The bike landed on my legs pinning me under until Rob could lift the bike off me and of course take some pics.

Still no harm done.

Oh and Rob got another flat.
His 4th in around a year.



And yes, he is using my spare tube and tools as he doesn't carry them.

 

Even with a little dismount, it sure looks like you had a fun ride.

Only thing hurt was the pride.
But it was funny, me lying face down in the shrubbery waiting for help to get the bike off me.
