Thanks. It WAS a lot of fun. The saddlebags are from Happy Trails and I'm using their SL racks to mount them. More info HERE It isn't the most cost conscience set up but, after using them on a couple of rides, I'm really glad I went that way. No straps across the seat, fast on-off and they seem pretty tough.

Gotcha, thanks for the clarification. I put my oxford sport luggage on last night on the klx just to see how they fit. I bought them for my 05 Ninja. I think they will work out pretty good. I have the tank, saddle bags and rear tail pack. I need to get a rear rack for the klx sometime. The saddle bags work great. I was worried about the exhaust burnin the bags but i had the bags resting on the number plates so they werent even close to the exhaust. Now I just need a long trip to put them to good use.

I really like how the back of this looks! Do you have to trim the frame and/or move taillight mount to fit it that far up and remove the rear fender extension?

Here is my 2009, during a ride in the twisties today while breaking in my grippy new Avon Distenzias. I have also added the Powerbomb header with Q4 and Dynojet kit.. It's alot of fun!
