when she was brand new i took this. since then have added bars, clamps, brush guards, skidplate, 13 tooth sprocket....multiple sets of tires.....you know.....same ol' same ol'

Those are right up there as some of the best shots of a rider and the bike we all have come to love as the KLX!!! Way to go man.

 

 

Took the KLX up to Shotgun OHV (in the hills north of Springfield, Oregon). Lots of roots, rocks, snotty clay, gnarly mud puddles, and a few inches of fresh snow up on the higher trails. I love my KLX, but one of my riding buddies swapped bikes with me for about half an hour while I rode his '09 KTM 400exc. It was SO much easier to ride in those conditions. On the KLX I felt like I was working my *** off trying keep it upright, on the KTM I was instantly comfortable, the nasty trails were just fun. It made me want to do more mods to make my KLX more trail-worthy.
