LETS POST SOME PIC OF YOUR BAD @$$ KLXs
I have not checked. Just not enough time and all my tools were stolen, but I should be checking it in the next couple of days.
No issues, just typical stuff you break while on the trail.
Had a blast last weekend playing on the Oregon dunes and doing powerslides and donuts on the beach. Surprisingly, the Kenda K270 rear tire does okay in the wet sand we have here in the winter and spring. I use rim locks and run about 10 psi in the tires. I'm planning to get a YZ250 w/ paddle for my dune trips in the future, but the KLX is still entertaining out on the sand.
Hello everyone!
I was looking for some KLX last year. I couldn't find any interesting for good price (i dont wanna spend too much) , but like two weeks ago i founded on the Craigslist some post about 07 KLX w 1,5 k miles. It was for sale in New Hampshire. I live in NJ, so i just took a day off in work ( means call sick day :] ) and i borrowed really old van ( chevy ram 1500 from 99 with 200k miles) from friend. My trip starts at 11 pm on Thursday and at 7 on the morning a was on the place in New Hampshire. When i saw the KLX it was amazing, but it wont start :/ ( it was like around 0 degrees) I did not know whether or not start. but i bought it. I was very happy. but for me another 8 h way to home. the old van runs great. i drove like 900 miles. but my first bike is at home. Now i have to know something more about it. The seller gave me a box w/ parts from KLX, i saw plastic box from dyno jet, and socket 14 teeth , OEM muffler.
P.S
Sorry for my English, but it isn't my first language.

Sounds like your having fun adventures getting your new bike. The 14 tooth sprocket comes stock on the bike, but many of us use a 13 tooth sprocket as it just seems to work better on this bike.
Welcome to the KLX family!

Great story Jan! Congratulations on the new bike, it looks like it is in good shape. If you look around (use the search function up above) you will find a lot of great information here on KF. Almost everything you might want to know

Thank you.
I am going to search more information, how everything works.
I have one issue every time when i try start it i have problem, it doesn't start really good, i need to connect the jumper and after like 30 seconds sometimes 1 minutes or more it starts. I read about Primer kit, and i ordered form ebay, i hope it's going to be working. when i use the starter spray it starts in a second. And i have another question about values if the bike has 1500 miles, do i need adjustment values? thank you .

Among the other remedies for hard starting, I recommend a fully charged battery. I leave my bike plugged into a smart charger (Battery Tender), whenever it's parked, and it never gives me trouble starting. But your searching of the forums will likely turn up much discussion of the hard starting issue. Good luck!
