LETS POST SOME PIC OF YOUR BAD @$$ KLXs
Its a custom stainless steel pipe and stainless steel muffler from Cone Eng. I dont think ive ever seen one on a late model dirt bike or enduro yet besides this one.
Only picture I have. Snapped it Saturday night. Wife and kids were out of town for the weekend. Decided to take a little night cruise out through the woods, up to the old slate dump, back down to the 2 lane and cruised around a bit. Nice relaxing ride.

I figured I'd post some pics now that my bike is done. The bike was red when I bought it last year. I posted a thread here "Trade My Red Plastics for Your Green", and found someone that traded with me. So now my bike is the way I wanted it, and it's now complete with just about every mod except a Big Bore kit which I may do next year.
My mods are:
- Powerbomb Header &
FMF Powercore 4 Muffler
- Dynojet Jet Kit
- Opened Airbox (snorkel removed)
- UNI Filter air filter
- Pivot Pegz Mark 3 Foot Pegs
- Cycle Pro Factory Works Full Suspension Revalve & Setup with Heavier RaceTech Springs & Gold Valves Front and Rear
- Ricochet Skid Plate
- Dunlop D606 Front Tire
- Kenda K760 Track Master Rear
- DRC Edge2 Tail Light Kit
- IMS 3 Gal Tank
- Manual Cam Chain Tensioner

Honestly, It was done by previous owner that happened to be very close to my heavy weight. I was able to ride the bike for awhile in the dirt on my buy test ride, and that's what sold me on buying this bike. I did have a few other's with less miles that were cheaper, but I wanted this bike because of the suspension. I rode a few KLX's with stock suspension and have to say night and day difference. Important to add, those bike's were not setup for me though, proper sag, etc. So comparison wasn't at all a fair one. So then again, hard to say. If your sag is set now and you have played with damping, providing you know what your doing, and not happy with it. Then go for it. If you ride hard like I do, you'll be more than happy with the results. Make sure you send it to someone that's good, and has happy customers. Some out there "say" they are suspension tuners, but aren't. Just do your homework and choose the right tuner. If you just cruising around slow, don't spend your money. You don't need it.
I guess my riding style is more like running the baja and putting around. I can't do the slow crap after my snowmobile is set up like a snocross sled. Couple weeks ago was my first time doing 60 down a dirt road with moderate chop and pot holes. I loved every second of that run
Go for it, you'll love it. Its just that I see so many guys investing big money on suspension mods and hopups that can't even ride. You know the type. More money than skill. Guy's that never rode a day in their life, and go out and buy a brand new KTM or Beta XTrainer or RR. There should be a law against it.....
Oh i know the guys you speak of, but ive come a long way since i bought this beast. I've come to learn you can't have a high cc engine without a very good suspension to keep it planted. After the full suspension rebuild a big bore kit is next, I know my limits but im starting to out grow the suspension a bit.
