Actually, the fix I did is pretty quiet at low load, but if you twist the throttle, it´s definitely louder. That's what I like about it, though. It´s actually possible to go in almost stealth - or LOUDNESS mode :-). It´s nothing fancy, really, about the hole pattern. It´s 5 axial rows of 6 holes in each row, ordered in a staggered pattern:

o o o o o o
o o o o o o
etc.
o o o o o o
o o o o o o
o o o o o o
etc.

These OURY grips are the most grippy chunky sticky even when wet grips i've ever fitted.....very happy cheap purchase from powersport junkie (available elsewhere i'm sure).
