Last ride? Also new bag and more show-offs
Went to the dealer to get some outside shots of my new tail bag and guards. Heres a shot of the built-in turn signals while energized. I decided to operate the fronts in tandem, so I wouldn't have to mess with load resistors or solid state flashers. It's more visible this way anyhow.

New 'Ralleye 691' mirrors.

New bag

Rear view of new Renthals. I find the Carmichael bend to be much more comfortable than the swept back stockers.

Dealer was B.S. ing with me while I took pictures. I didn'tgo there with the intention of riding, butthe sun was out, so I made the comment that I wish I would have brought my helmet. Dealer disappears into shop, comes back with a helmet and says 'be safe.'
Made my first stop at 'Roman Park' on the way to the mountains to cool down the bike and have their famous Oirase Gorge pure spring water coffee...eat your heart out, Deej
TheUltra Classic sittingnextto my bike was1 of 2 crazy guys (other than me) that I saw out riding today. Yep, there are Harley riders in Japan..quite a few actually. My Bellstaff Mercury Jacket kept me nice and warm. The heated grips and hand protectors also helped immensely.

Half way up to the 'plateau.'

At destination. The coffee shop is already shut-down and boarded-up for the winter. At least THEY have the right idea...but I still had fun. The 300cc bikes are a blast to ride..especially this one with the Nassert cams. She really accelerates now, so I find myself having to shift much sooner. A good analogy was offered by Nobrakes after he initially installed the 300 jug. It almost feels like going1 tooth smalleron the front sprocket or 3 teethlarger on the back, only you are building velocity afasterrate. The race cams give you a stronger mid-upper range hit though...quite the rush
6th gear is a lot more usable as well. I tried to go up further in elevation, but the roadswere iced over, so I turned around in a hurry. That will probably do it for the winter....famous last words

cool pics, i like those handguards/ signals.... looks good. im going riding tomorrow... supposed to be 44degrees.... but its gonna be a dirt ride so not too much higher speed stuff.
Yeah it's getting pretty tough to ride around here. It wasn't much above freezing in the mountains, but not
bad down low. Hopefully I will have dirt wheels and a longer kick standin the arsenal for next season. Maybe even some ice tires
. I'll keepthe bike at work next winter if I get those.
Have fun tomorrow.

Nice but how is that back tire? looks a little on the thin/wore out side of things in the pic. Nice pics by the way, need some more
The rear rubber is close, but still 'legal.'[8D] Idon't like the thought of installingnew rubberand letting it set all winter, so she'll be getting Pilot Sports front and rear inSpring. The rear is only a 135 right now, so I'll be bumpingthat up to a 140. Kawasaki put wider Excel rims on the D-trackder in 2005, but stuck with the same width of tire...cheapskates![&:] I know it sounds pretty small by sportbike standards, butit'splenty for motard.
