Does anyone know if the Acerbis tank will fit on the 2009 KLX 250s? Im going to buy one and try it out, but thought i would check if this has been tried already. I agree they look pretty fugly, but, im going to be dropping the bike a lot and going long distances where i need the extra petro....

Otherwise i thought a cheaper option is to fill up ziplock bags of gas and hang them from the rear muffler....

 

I had to give you a 10 on the what made me laugh out loud today scale. Thanks man I needed that. I just carry 2 ea. 33 0z and 2 ea 22 oz bottles. pour them in as soon as you can. I agree, the Averbis tank is not their best work, and in factI would push my bike before I had an ugly Acerbis tank on it.[8D]

Disclaimer: No guys that have installed the Acerbis tank were hurt in the making of this post.

I already do, I have 4 that I take with me on long trips.

 

Any problems filling those MSR bottles at a gas station or do you just use a large gas can to fill the bottles?
