Larger fuel tank?

I almost don't care what the tank looks like, as long as it accepts the bolt on parts/fairings and holds more gas.

This is my routine. The dirt bike state park is 60 miles away from home. I fill up before leaving my house. I fill up at the gas station by the state park. I ride off road for the afternoon. Then I fill up again before leaving for home. Threetrips to the gas stationfor an afternoon of dirt riding. [&:]

Hi Chris,Are you guys still working on this tank? I'm at the point now where I can't stand the capacity of the stock tank. Acerbis has a bigger tank for my bike, but I don't like to looks/fit of it and the IMS tank requires too much retrofitting. I'm anxiously awaiting to see what you have to offer before I make my decision.Thanks.Dan Moore[/blockquote]

Well, sorry to say I gave up as I didn't want to miss some major rides again this season that require a decent range. I'll be taking the XR250R with a 3.8gl on the Alpine Loop out of Silverton, CO this summer as well as over the Continental Divide via the old wagon train route which is named East Fork over Elwood Pass to Platoro, CO. Anyone interested in a group ride in S.W. Colorado is more than welcome. The high country is just aboutsnow freeand should be totally clear in a couple of weeks.
yeah, more good news I received today at approx 3 pm.....
