How come most of the KLX300 riders use the KLX250S forum.. are the bikes this similar

 

yes they are very similar... damn near the same bike... and there just isnt too many guys on this forum with the 300

 

There is a big bore 300cc kit availablefor the KLX 250. Some guys here have either talked about doing it or have done it. I will be doing it myself after about 20k to 25k, until then I'm going to enjoy my KLX in her 250 form.

There are a few pure KLX300 rider here. All you have to do is look that the activity in the KLX300 forum. It's a ghost town, so a few of them are hanging with us. The major differences is that ours has a battery, brighter light ande-start, but after that there are very few differences.

Oh, and I have bumped mine up to 300cc as well. The KLX300 cylinder bolts right on.
