KLX300 Kickstarter into 250EFI?

Hi, I have the opportunity to purchase the Kickstarter assembly from a 1998 KlX 300. Would anyone know if I could transplant this into my 2015 250SFF Efi??

You better check to see if the EFI fuel pumps will work if the battery is flat. You may need some voltage to it to operate. If so, the kick starter is pretty much useless.
