He told you what to do but you can only get about 1 inch in front tops.

Use your brain Francis. Forks go up in the trees, bike comes down to Earth.

raise the forks to lower the front.....the forks can be raised about an inch before it hits the handlebar...not sure if you can get a different handlebar or riser that can allow you to raise the fork more to lower a bit more....risers like this should work... http://www.twistedthrottle.com/trade...view/2016/668/ ...

and, longer "dog bones" to lower the rear...you can buy one for the klx250 http://www.koubalink.com/orderform.html ....or, you might need to just get a new "dog bone" cut or find one that might work from another bike to lower 2 inches...

Kawasaki 1994-up KLX250/300 & 06-up KLX250H6F Dual Sport*
**These links will also fit the 09 KLX250 dual sport and SM models, but lowers the rear 1/4" less than on the 06-08 models.*

KLX250/300 KLX2 Links - .750" lowering. PN KLX2: $75
KLX250/300 KLX3 Links - 1.25" lowering. PN KLX3: $75
KLX250/300 KLX4 Links - 2.00" lowering. PN KLX4: $75

i would definitely get a professional sag adjustment after messing around with the height....

and a lot of times, just making sure your sag numbers are correct for your weight will bring the bike within your height requirements. Then after that, modifying or altering the suspension as mentioned above may be in order.

Default Caution

PLUS, once you move the fork tubes UP towards your handlebars (in order to lower your bike, right?) more than ONE HALF INCH (from stock) you are now going to be into the taper of the fork tube itself. All of this means that You do not have full clamping surface on the upper triple clamp.
