Default Klx250sf rear shock help

I need help on my 2009 Klx250sf rear shock. I'm trying to get to the nitrogen bleeder valve so I can let all the nitrogen out of the bladder to take it all apart. My question is how do you remove the cap over the valve? I've been trying with a flat head to get it out of there but it's not doing anything. Please help me in my time of need I'll post a picture tomorrow to help you guys see what I'm talking about.

I think that you have to use a hypodermic needle to bleed pressure. The 'valve' is really just the rubber diaphragm and the needle just pierces the bladder. I just used a 18ga needle that I epoxied to a brass fitting for a charging hose.
