Klx250sf 12 tooth sprocket Question
I ran 13/45 last year, but found the front sprocket seemed to wear out quickly. (not sure if it was the size or the manufacturer) So this year I switched back to a 14 front and went up to a 48 rear. It is very close to the 13/45 set-up and I absolutely agree that this ratio is the best for both dirt roads, trails and street riding.
I'm lovin the new gear set up. 13t front 44t rear. It's perfect for the tight back roads. I went riding with this guy who was on a drz400... I smoked him through the corners and gave him a run for his money on the straights. I hoped on the highway, and cruzed at 65mph right around 7rpm.
