The XT has a bit more power and a six speed transmission, but, there's no way I would ever go back to it, after riding the DR200SE. It fits my riding style, the areas I ride at, and short legs better then the XT and the seat on the DR is much better then the XT. The seat on the XT was a pain. It was like sitting on a 2x4. The suspension, ride height and other features are nearly identical. I prefer the larger fuel tank and lower seat height of the DR200SE, as well.

As for the seat, I haven't found a DP bike with comfy seat but yeah the XT seat is pretty bad. Makes the KLX seat feel like a Corbin!
The seat's pretty low on the XT. I'm only 5'7"-5'8", and I have the preload set on full max on the XT and I still flat foot it and my knees are even bent.
