Hey guys, just a quick one as my mate Google let me down today; I currently own a 2012 KLX250S, love it, but I can't help but think that the front mudguard/fender looks a bit... pointy? If your not really sure what I mean, do a image search for a KX and KLX and the KX fender seems to arch up very slightly before coming down. The KLX seems to point almost straight down, which suits supermotos but not so much knobblies, in my twisted opinion. If i bought, say, a KX250 fender off the net, do you reckon it would fit? If anyone out there has any knowledge/experience with different fenders, i would greatly appreciate to hear it.

I have the KX front fender on mine, but it's a 2007 250S. Honestly, there's probably no down side to the original KLX fender other than loioks. It would compress in line with the fork and there's probably not enough fork travel to be impacting ***** on fender - even the lower frontend on the KLX fender.

it's more aerodynamic at higher speeds...some people call it a "bird beak" design which is also more of a modern trend on bikes....straighter and pointy....

 

I've got the acerbis supermoto universal front fender on mine. fits great but I had to dril the mounting holes myself. I don't see why an acerbis universal front regular fender woulldnt fit.

Those mud flaps are incredible they sure keep the mud off your bike
