Default KLX250S EFI Front fender change

A new OEM front fender is expensive and quite easy to break off road so I am thinking about trying the 2016 KX250 front fender instead. Here is the link:

UFO Kawasaki Motocross MX Front Fender KXF 250 2017 KXF 450 2016 - 2017 Green | eBay

Has anyone tried this mod? will it mount up OK?

Thanks.

Ill probably be getting one like that if my hack job isnt that good off road. might have to drill new holes only issue i can see or put a spacer in the back so it will clear the neck

I have a 2014 KX450f front fender on mine, bolts right up. Not sure if they changed the 2016, but a 2014 KX450f is like $20 most places.

I had to use 2 washers on the back to keep it from hitting the frame. The bolts are a little different than our 250, same size and length, but the kx450f has bigger holes in the fender. The kx450 bolts have a "bushing" of sorts built in (whereas our 250 the bushing is molded into the fender itself). Its worth the $6 for the kx450 bolts, it will be much more secure (but i ran with 250 bolts and washers for a while)

Hope that helps.

Thanks for the pic, looks great. Is the gap between the fender and headlight OK?

It's perfect, don't have a pic but it fits just like the stock one, like it was made for it
