The same internal spacer, wheel bearings, circlips, left seal (50-62-7), left collar, speedo drive assy, spokes (except where noted), and disc rotor bolts fit the following hubs making them functionally identical:

1986-2006 KDX200 and 220 FRONT HUB spoke size difference
1991-1994 KDX250 KDX250 FRONT HUB
1993-1996 KLX650R and C FRONT HUB
1994-2007 KLX250R, S, and SF FRONT HUB 2006-2007 spoke size difference
1997-2007 KLX300R FRONT HUB

The same internal spacer, wheel bearings, circlips, left collar, rotor bolts , but not the left seal or speedo drive (gear style) fits:

2009-2014 KLX250S and SF FRONT HUB spoke size same as 2006-2007 KLX250S

Based on the parts in the hub, the only difference has to be in some hub finish or some other non-essential with the exception of the spoke change on the KDX model and another on the KLX250 2006-2007 plus the electronic speedo and seal for 2009-2014.

So if you get any of the complete wheels from the first list you would have a bolt on set up based on the parts that fit up to the hub.

Now the rear hub is identical with the following based on the same part number used:

1995-2006 KDX200 and 220 REAR HUB
1991-1994 KDX250 KDX250 REAR HUB
1993-1996 KLX650R REAR HUB
1994-2007 KLX250R, S, and SF REAR HUB
1997-2007 KLX300R FRONT HUB

I believe there are KX hubs that will work, probably spoke size differences, but it would take some trial fitting to see. Hub parts don't reflect interchangability.
I have a 2009 KLX250sf and I am really wanting to swap the 17" front wheel off for a 19" wheel. From how I read your post would a 2006-2007 KLX250S front wheel and hub bolt right and the only issue would be the speedo would not work?

I have been struggling to find good info on this topic! Your post has been helpful! I did talk to the guys over at Warp 9 Racing and they can build me a 19" front wheel and hub with the 300mm rotor so my caliper would remain the same for a bit over $400 plus shipping. The speedo would not work and I would remove the speedo completely.

I am going to be riding mostly forest service roads and trails (no super crazy jumps! Maybe some technical riding now and then). I'll ride the streets to and from the trail but would be riding the street just for the heck of it. Those old forest service roads are my favorite.

Here are some pictures of my current front wheel. I am going to probably do a Shinko 244 on the front and rear once I figure out if or where I can get my from 19".

Any of your advice would be greatly appreciated!

Heidenau K60 comes in a 19", that's what I'm running on my XCountry. They are great on gravel, a little spendy though.

Husqvarna te410 rear wheel fits perfectly on a 2010 klx250s frame. Only the bearings must be changed. From 47x25 mm to 47x20 mm in order to use klx250s axle. Also the brake disc needs 1 cm more in diameter but i assume that there are a lot of options out there.

If that is the case I believe you can use the brake caliper carrier for the earlier 250/300 where they used a smaller rotor. I believe it was a 220 mm rotor versus the new in 2009 240 mm rotor. I swapped out with another rider to get the smaller rotor on my 2009. It is a bolt on exchange and they can be had used on ebay.

Here is one for under $30.

Are there any non-tube/non-spoke wheels that fit for road use only? Thanks!
