Default KLX250 and KLX 300 compatible wiring harness

I know there are some KLX gurus out there. I need to replace the wiring harness on my 250. Is the 300 compatible?

The 300 will be missing (at the least) the wiring for the starter.
In short I'd say no.
If you are good at such things, it might be made to work, but it'd still be a PITA.
What is wrong with your harness?

The KLX300 is off-road only. No starter, no turn signals, no battery, different alternator circuit, etc.

I have a harness from an '09 bike that is mostly intact. The turn signals were cut off but the rest looks pretty good. Sounds like you may be looking for a harness for an earlier bike though. PM me if interested.
