KLX is trying to kill me
I've developed a real issue with my 2007 KLX. When making a turn, on the street or hardpack, the front end suddenly feels like its going to shift on me. Its hard to describe, seems to be worse making lefts. I'll be making a left turn at about 25mph, and 1/2 way thru the turn the bike suddenly will pull tighter, been able to recover but its unsettling.
I'm running 606's with about 2.5k on them, lots of tread left, about 5k on the bike. Tried adjusting pressure, still occurs. Even when traveling in a straight line at lower speeds the front end feels like its not tracking straight and true. Like its slightly jerking.
Not seeing any wobble on the tire, spokes look good, brake isn't dragging.
I did drop the bike at 50mph and slide it 150ft 3 years ago, but all I needed to do after that was straighten out the front end.
Any thoughts would be appreciated, thanks.

Check your front wheel bearings for play & your triple clamp headset. Sounds like something up there is loose. My other bikes headset loosened up, I could feel the play when in trail rubble, it was knocking on rolling over stuff. The shop tightened it up, now I think it is too tight & feels weird riding, does not make minor corrections in turns easily. So I guess your headset could be too tight too!
