Default KLX made DirtBike Magazine

FYI Just got the Feb DIRTBIKE mag and it has a few pages on the KLX250S. DG, IMS footpegs, IMS tank and re-jetted. It's nice to see the ol' kawi still gets noticed.

The klx article wasn't bad, not to many mods....

I appreciated the ossa dual injected 2 stroke, the future is bright. Just as clean as a 4 stroke with way less moving parts

I'd say FEBRUARY 2012. Just a guess.

I find it odd that they stated the forks have no clickers and they added the heaviest oil they could find. Mine has compression clickers and I was under the impression that changing to a heavier oil will give a very harsh ride when you hit a square edge. I might have to look into a DG Pipe, $200!

I couldn't find the article in the magazine, but unless the fork has changed unbelieveably, the recommendation of very heavy fork oil sounds outlandish. What did they do?...take out the fork springs and just use oil?

From the article:
"We preloaded the springs a half-inch and ran the heaviest fluid we could find."

They didn't even put a skid plate on it?!

The article starts on page 68 of the Feb 2012 Dirt Bike which is to be displayed until Feb 17.
