I was looking for sprockets on the net and i found this link:

http://www.sprocketcenter.com/c/16585/1/kawasaki.html

They sell KLX300 Sprocket and chain sets ( Sidewinder- Front Rear and chain) These should fit our 250's since I read back a few posts that the 300 sprockets are the same as ours.

Hey west, I forgot to tell u that I run a 47 tooth rear and it seems to be fine. I went with a 110 chain and I cut it to my exact length that i wanted. It worked out great. If Its to long u can always grind or use a chain press. but U cant really make a chain longer tho.

Its an application I have been working on. Its accurate with a gps but indicated readings vary as the speedos are off by up to about 10% average. Tire sizes also contribute to the inaccuracy so I wrote this to allow user inputs to tweak as necessary for most accurate results. Its not ready yet as I want to add a lot more different bikes to the choices but thought I would throw out a shot to see what people think.

I went with 13/45 and it was great down low but would still cruise at 60mph w/out too much rpm increase. I think several have this combo and it's been said that it is the most versatile for the bike's abilities both on/off-road.
I have this combo for off road its awesome, but far too many revs onroad unless you never go over 50mph

No problem. Thats a 14-49 in the pic and at 8000 rpm its about 66 mph.
