Hoping someone can shed some light on my issue
09 250sf with q4 twin air filter, no lid, smog crap gone, jetting with 128 main 3rd clip, 3 turns out as per DJ instructions, I'm at 2400' ish, is it normal for bike to pop/ back fire with jet kit and q4 pipe?

 

A little decal popping is normal. It could also mean you have a leak where your slip-on meets your header. Did you use high temp silicon at the joint and give it 24-hours to set before tightening?

 

I did use the high temp an let it cure, found out my issue was a bad seal where the snogging crap came off the head of the engine, seems to be good now, thanks for the reply!

 

DavisJ, Neonarc is a little higher up than you but had more power with the DJ needle on the 4th notch down.. Nearer sea level, standard pilot, and with bigger main jets, 5th notch down is more powerful..
