I've got a 300 pipe and muffler. When I put it on this winter, I'm going to derestrict my motorcycle. Is there anything I need to consider about the carb jets so I have what I need when I put it all together?

Do I need anything special to make the muffler fit my motorcycle mounts? Seems like I read somewhere it needs a standoff or something like that to clear bodywork.

Thanks!

Yes you need to adjust the jetting to get the best results. Search for the various combinations. FWIW I ran a 300 full exhaust with a 125 main, stock pilot, NT!C needle on 2nd groove, no lid, 2.5 turns on fuel screw, 7/64 slide hole, 1100 feet etc. The muffler bolts right on.

It does bolt right on, except there is one mounting bolt that doesn't get used, not a problem though as the can is still held in 2 places.

To clarify, mine had 3 tabs, but one of them didn't line up with the 3rd mount on the frame, it was the middle of the 3 mounts, the outter ends are held.

Supertrapps do sounds nice. Like u said a little different than the norm. My buddy has one on his quad and loves it. I think most of there systems are tunable too with there disc system.
