That might be the cheapest solution.

Or maybe get some of those padded cycling shorts hahaha.

The corbin seats from the post above look right comfy.

Guess I will have to weigh it up, cost over how long I think I will keep the bike for and what its main use will be.....

On various bikes over the years I've had OEM, Corbin, and Sargent seats, seats customized by me and seats customized by an expert (Rick Mayer), seats covered by sheepskin and seats covered with beads. My current KLX seat is one of my DIY projects, and although improved over OEM it still isn't exactly a long-distance throne.

The most comfortable seating surface I have even plunked my shapely behind upon, however, is an inflatable pad. Not a pricey AirHawk, although I'm sure they are very good. Mine is a simple canoe cushion I got from REI. With just a tiny amount of inflation (so you don't feel like you are sitting on a ballon) it conforms to your nether anatomy perfectly, and expands along the sides to give wider lateral support.

Honestly, it's the best solution I have found. After 10 hours in the saddle the only thing that DOESN'T hurt is my butt.

The stock seat sucks! Many have upgrade to an aftermarket seat. I went with the Seat Concept seat. It'll be the best $170 you'll even spend on your ***.

Suggest you order the seat concepts seat online. They do int'l shipping at 60 bucks. I live in Indonesia and ordered the kit half year ago and it worked fine
