Ok... got it back to stock just for the sake of it.
Did the mod again and im still hearing the intake with the lid removed. If I remove only the snorkel I can no longer hear the intake.

I not sure if its right or not but at this point i ll take a break before trying again.

Regards

What's your jetting? I think richening up the jetting with the cam mod and with no lid is something that needs to be done

IIRC my air box moan decreased as the jetting got richer

Which in some ways may not make sense, but then neither does that moan if ask me..

- Other bikes don't have air box moan. I couldn't find anyone complaining about the same thing a few months ago.

Gensem, I'm going to assume you've done the mod correctly on intake and exhaust cams and have repositioned the ACR ..? If so then before you start yanking off snorkels and lids you'll have to perform the mods on the EFI to fuel the bike correctly. The information is in here and there are several fellas here that can help you with the EFI - my bike is carb'd.

The mod is ok for the intake and the exhaust but I did not rotate the ACR, ended up removing the spring, but im still having a hard time starting the bike hot in a 100º+f day.
Maybe my O2 simulator is not working properly, I ll check that out.

Tks

Has this been posted already, can mod video?
He only does the exhaust side. Also he mentioned that the ACR is on the intake in the comments. So not sure how viable this is.

Sketchy. Intink = intake I guess.
Doesn't say what he's doing while he has the gear off the cam with his hands hiding what's going on. Must have had the engine preset at the right spot to have it all work out after "turn 1/2 to remove lower bolt, turn 1/2 again to remove other bolt".
Nice rear tire skid on his return, Not.

Interesting that he does only the exhaust (I did only the intake).
Good idea to mark the actual camshaft for a sanity check.

He should have used threadlock and a torque wrench during reassembly, although 99/100 times you will get away with it.
I thought he was going to drop one of the bolts down into the cranlcase! Maybe he had a rag down there?

Has anyone with a 06-07 engine actually determined via dyno and-or a/f meter testing both any HP gain and what new jetting was called for after doing the MCM?
