I'm never opening up my motor....last time I did that was on a Yamaha 650 back in 1987 and I sold the bike in boxes...LOL No thanks.

Sure but you ain't gonna be producing those kind of ponys without a big bore, engine and head work, or some really bad *** cams or combinations thereof.

 

I wasn't talking about the tranny but he ain't getting 29 hp at the crank either. Again wishful thinking.

I want to do this mod but Ive never opened a bike up before.

I've rebuilt MANY car engines and am very familiar with precision overhaul techniques, but for some reason this mod makes me nervous. Perhaps I am over complicating it.
