I was looking at the planet klx web page and read about removing the but plug from the end of the exhaust. they stated that it was easy to remove and you gain horse power. I believe that you would gain more power but to just remove the plug it looks like I need to use a diegrinder. has anyone removed the plug and if so how did you do it? I just didnt want to start hacking on my exhaust and then have to weld it back together. and a slip on just cost to much right now.

 

They don't make the 250 exhaust removable anymore.

thats just the klx300 muffler, klx250S muffler is different
