Scott, you'll enjoy that bike immensely...especially since you have the KLX to fill the other void. IMO the year that Kaw made the Kawi green KLR was the best looking year ever...period. It looked like a big, nasty KX...LOL!

I know you'll have fun with that bike...and you can carry more PBR on that huge luggage rack.

Let me tell you, my primary ride is a 23 year old HD FLH that is stroked. I had a KLR and it scared the bejeezus out of me. It was a rocket sled on wheels, I mean from here to gone in zzzap. I had to lower it with dogbones because I have a relatively short inseam. I got rid of it in a hurry because it was waiting to kill me. KLR= killer... good luck.

Turkeywhistle:
Thanks for the well wishes. Years ago I used to ride a 750LTD, like a crazy man at times. Don't know how I lived through it and gave up riding for over 15 years. I'm having fun running around town on the KLR, sometimes wishing it had a little more power, but knowing I really don't need it

The KLX is still getting more miles. It's dirt eatin' machine.

Snow season is rolling up on us and it's time to prep the Polaris.

I don't know, tw200...if you think a KLR650 is a rocket sled, your FLH must have been running on one cylinder...LOL!

Maybe that's why he doesn't have a problem with it going dangerously fast
