I just got my bike home tonight so I'd thought I'd post something instead of just reading.
Are there any other bikes that share the same kickstand as the '06 KLX250?
I did the search and came up empty.
I have another question but that will be on another topic.

welcome to the forum. what are you trying to do? i would be surprised if any otheroem stands will work.

Well I want to shorten the kickstand but want to keep my stock one intact. In other words, I don't want to hack on mine. I think I can get one off of a KLX300 but I don't know if that will fit my bike.

 

I have a shortened KLX250S kick stand that I'm willing to part with. I had it shortened when I lowered my bike with Kouba links (1.125") and raised the forks, but I've backed those mods out and have reverted to a stock length kick stand. It has a hole drilled in its foot, but it'll work.

It's there to incite questions.

Actually, it's there to for a long 3/8" bolt with a whole bunch of washers stacked up on it to lengthen the stand again. It was a stop gap measure until I got another stand.
