Speaking of I've been wanting to change the rear white fenders to black for a while now. Any suggestions? I was thinking that maybe the 09 KX 250F rear fenders might fit but I'm not going to buy them to find out. Anybody have luck painting those rear fenders.

 

I actually was going to get the all the white painted on my 09 sooner or later. I have a friend that paints professional at a body shop and says they paint plastic all the time with no problems. I'm going to either do that or buy the 09 black fenders too.

 

the problem with paint fenders is when you fall in the bush or where ever, the paint scratches off and stands out. where as the black plastic fenders are black the whole way through so the scratches dont stand out. go the fenders

 

Yeah I figured that would happen. Best bet would be probably buy the stock SF fenders.

 

SF fender will have you eatin' roost with a 21" knobby on the front. Get a black 21" fender from Acerbis or UFO.

 

Sorry I meant fairings/side panels lol.

Does anybody know how much the rear fairing cost roughly?
