okay, now i went to kustom-kraft.com and see they will bore a 300 (292)to 330, replate it, include piston kit and gaskets for $440. that's pretty tempting too. all one would need is any 300 cylinder, scratches or not since it's gonna be bored. the search is on. so basically for the price of a used cylinder, you could have a 330 in contrast to a 292. going from a 250 to a 292 would be almost like going from a 292 to a 330. one jump is a 42cc jump, and the latter is a 38cc jump. plus, you would be getting a Wiseco piston kit.

If you want one PM me!

Matt. Did I understand from your comment that you have a KLX 300 cylinder for sale? If so, how much andwhat's the condition? Would you email me at bill_dragoo@hotmail.com? I'm wanting to upgrade my bike to 330 or 331, whatever it takes.

Thanks

That's correct! Good condition. Perfect for the big bore, as 1997 thru 2007 KLX300 cylinder is what you need.

Well, after winning a 340cc big bore kit on ebay I now have two extra KLX300R cylinders. I was bidding on both a while back and as luck would have it I won both auctions. As long as the 340cc is a direct bolt on I will be sellingboth 300cc cylinders. One is off a 2001 and the other is from a 2002. Either is ready for the big bore and one is so nice you could do the 292cc upgrade and not rebore, just add the 300cc piston, etc. I will sell the cylinders for what I have invested in them. Hey cwgoff, thanks for the tip on the 340cc kit. If you can swing it I would make you a dealfor helping out a brother!

Oh yeah, I just remembered the 2002 cylinder came with piston, rings and pin. All look to be excellent. FYI Ron Ayers price is Cylinder $309.93. Piston $62.64. Ring set $36.66. Pin $9.63

Thanks, buddy, but I am going to have to pass for now. I have an angle that I will work that should put me in the market by the summer I hope.
