This past weekend I did some of the modifications on my 07; Drilled the silencer, added the snorkel and put on the 13T front sprocket -didn't get to install the Dynojet kit yet. But the bike runs great -I only have about 30 mile on it, but it revs quicker and 1, 2nd and 3rd pull great. I did not touch the smog crap. I also have a totally stock twin with 28 miles that my son rides and the difference between the two is dramatic.
Take care, Glen

Thanks for all the help guys, I threw in a 125 main jet, 38 pilot and changed the needle, put the clip on 2nd position, drilled the slide hole, plus i drilled out the cover on the air fuel mixture and set it at 2 1/2 turns, my new pipe still isnt on, what a difference the jetting makes, do you think i will need to re jet again when the pipe goes on??
"okay, I'm curious. laughing in the past at reading about people "drilling out their stock exhausts", I would like to know where they are drilling since I'm still on the fence to do a pipe at this point. I did this to my DRZSM and it helped a bit but the DRZ has a nice exhaust tip removed by three screws in about 30 seconds. I could put some holes in my muffler if asked to, but where? I don't feel like going out and looking right now.
"
I have the O7 and did like everyone recommended on this site and just went in through the end of the silencer and drilled through one internal baffle -just a little louder, and a little less restrictive.
Take care, Glen
