Yep, I agree with deej. I think it's impossible for an "almost 15" year old to hold 400 pounds with his hands. Even though I assume you use straps... I would prefer on the shoulders anyday! I suppose it's like a deadlift just with majority legs... So 4 plates a side, with a 45ib bar.
I want you to prove me wrong with a picture of you holding 400 ibs.
I have squatted I think.... 365... 3 plates and a 25. And that was even abnormally heavy for a young "bodybuilder" (I guess you could call it, ha). But that was also when I was 19 or 20.
400ibs is alot. Props, I just wanna see it.

Haha this will be funny when I bring a camera into MVHC (Mon Valley Health Center) since its mostly old people on the cycles and body builders who always wear sunglasses for some reason.. But deej really wans to see me in the pool. But I'm not a body builder... No straps on the bar, and yea its basically a dead lift, Start from a squat and stand up. All I did when I was younger like 5-12 was run everyday for fun, and I'd max out the leg press machine at 350 when I was 11 and I could easily do it, now my leg press is near 500 free weights (Machine you put free weights on)

Just see if you can get a buddy to take a pic with a camera phone, then it won't look so stupid, just him for playing with his phone at the gym. haha. I'm not sure if it's that I don't belive you... But I find it very hard to belive. And a picture would help, lol. That's definetly an accomplishment tho man at your age especially! How long have you been seriously lifting?

It's not serious lifting, just 2 or 3 times a week to hang out up at the biggest gym in Western PA.

That is some accomplishment. At 14 though I'd have to see it to beleive it, unless you've completed puberty freakishly early I'd say maybe its just bad form? Not jabbing shots at you bro, just thats some serious **** at 14!!! You could probably hustle alot of people.

Anyway WTF happened to this thread?? How'd we get into debating on how much someone can dead lift?

Fair nuf. Just be careful though. I dont know if it still holds true, but you arent really supposed to do heavy weight training until your like 16 or something. Just hurts your joints or something. I had a buddy that played hockey very competatively and trained his guts out when he was 13. He's now got some cartelage issues.

Yeah, I sure would like to know what happened to this threadI started. Lots of good info in here, except for being jacked by a 14 year old "ARNOLD". Go figure!!

I'll be glad to see pics of this feat (lifting), just to get it over with! And the weights better not be the fake blackplastic ones on display at WalMart. [8D]LOL!!!!
