Jetting KLX300R
#11
check FMF's web site for jetting faq, think they'll say 132main and advise a clip position for the stock needle if I remember right
Need some help on jetting a 06' 300R. We are going to put a FMF Powercore IV SO, and remove the snorkle. Anyone have the numbers? Also, broke my clavical(not on the KLX, but on a BMX bike)about a month ago. Going to try a ride this weekend. Miss my 250S. Thanks in advance!

Thanks RimBender- I looked it up and they do recommend 132/35 with a N1TC (3rd clip) needle, so they're listing Keihin jet sizes not DJ sizes. They only say to use the stock fuelscrew - not how many turns out. Anyone know?

I don't think you'll see a specific number of turns other than the normal minimum and maximum, because it varies so much between bikes...temps, elevation, mods, etc. Just fine tune it by doing the turning in and turning out to find your best position for idle. This method also gives you an indication as to whether you have the right pilot jet or not.
