Jetting???

Jetting???
So I am just completeing the install on my exhaust and intake mods on my 06 klx250s. I also did the shift star mod and a few other cosmetic updates.
I am going from running the stock exhaust to an hmf slip with my stock header pipe and I have gutted the mesh out of my intake and am lanning on running either lid-less or hi flow snorkel. I am also runnign a UNI filter.
I used the FSW shift star and I was told that a lot of people had probelms bc the bike wouldnt idle with the kickstand down when in neutral bc the FSW star had the alignment off for the neutral indicator.
MY QUESTIONS;
1) AM I ok to start my bike and let it run for a little bit before I rejet it? Just to make sure I am not going to be having these problems with idling. I need ot make sure the bike will run before I drop it off at the nike shop to have it jetted.
2) IF I have to disengage the kick stand sensor WHERE IS IT??? Bc I cannot see any wires or anyhting else going to my kickstand...
