jetting
i was wondering if i should change any other jets besides the main jet in my 2009 klx 250s because i put two brothers m7 exhaust on and a dyno jet kit for the 300 and it only came with a main jet and i have heard some people talk about the pilot jet onthis bike
page 51 of the owners man does state that unless it is a hot day 35celcius/95farenhiet or if the engine has been running already, you are supposed to choke it to start it. I choke mine and it starts right up every time no matter how long the bike sits.

Naw man, the KLX is just one cold blooded B***h. I live in Central Florida, and I don't care how warm (90+) it is I have to use the choke. Cleaned my AF the a couple of days ago after the bike had sat for three days. After numerous, battery using (and oh yeah, I wanna kick start, it's on my list of gotta have mods) I was beginning to think I'd overoiled the AF or muffed up something else. Finally figured out Homer didn't pull the choke out - Doh!
Fired right up. Don't really get it. In the time it takes me to push in the choke the bike is "warm" enough to start right back up. It is what it is - and I like it.
