Second attempt: first setup had a cheap suction cup that fell off when I went over jumps. Got this one from the AT&T store.. has really strong suction cup.. stays put over jumps and whoops.. now I can use TOMTOM or google maps while exploring! Iphone securely in place with mophie battery pack.. no drilling or modification needed.

 

Word of the wise, clamp that kind of stuff to the bars. Suction cup on a off-road trail sounds like it be a thing waiting to fall off.
