Default IMS Tank problem?

I bought the new IMS tank and the throttle cables do not have enough room to turn the forks full lock to the left. It pulls on the carb and breaks the seal on my airbox. I have tried numerous times to reroute the cables to no avail. The bottom front of the tank stops my cables from moving far enough. Anyone else have this problem?

And I just figured it out, the bars I bought and put on are a tiny bit wider than stock. Bummer.

Reroute them. I have an IMS tank, bar risers and some raised bars on my bike and they work fine. Bars are about 2-2 1/2" taller

I'll just keep using the stock bars, I am tired of messing with the cables and bike in general right now.

Handlebars are such a preference driven item. Coming from a moutainbike background, I always like a bar to saddle setup that has the bar noticeably higher than the saddle. I ride long travel MTB's with at least 6" or more of travel, so they're fairly big hit style bikes. It's kind of weird that I have a lower bar on my KLX...a Rental something or other. Still, the KLX bar is noticeably higher than my MTB. I'm a long torso built type of person, so I don't have much trouble reaching for the bar. All of this just points out how different the bar to saddle height and distance can be.
