I take great joy in circumventing California laws...but I'm from Texas, so take that for what it's worth.

did you have any problems with fitting the tank & stock shrouds? anything that required adjusting to get the tank on?

thanks in advance.
Yes, it pissed me off at first but I'm glad I stuck it out. I'm an uber perfectionist so maybe I'm just picky but with enough fiddling it fits fine. I'd say go for it. I'm happy I have an IMS and most people who have them are happy too. Some folks never experience any fitment issues and some do like I did. IMHO it's by far the mod you'll appreciate the most.

I live in the epicenter of morons. Just as an example plastic bags are banned and we have to pay a 10 cent per paper bag tax at the store if we don't bring reusable bags. I'm all for saving the environment, hell I can guarantee I've planted more trees in my life then most tree huggers in Berkeley, but with that being said it's wrong we're forced into it. Recently my Jeep just failed smog for having a C.A.R.B approved intake on it because get this "it didn't specifically say from the air resource board that it could replace the original unit". It's inane they approve a mod for the car yet it fails visual. Friggn annoying, my Jeep is labeled as a "high omitter profile" so I have to go to a special smog station and it's 85 bucks to get it smogged. The taxes are insane, the roads are falling apart. There is a fee for everything, it's ****ed.

Sorry for the rant, don't say California around me. LoL
