Default IMS fuel tank fuel pump seal concern

Tank for 2019 efi. Is this gapping normal? Is the resin just deforming from the pressure of the oring? It does not leak after a few minutes of letting it sit with some gas in the bottom. Should I have longevity concerns?

If your ims fuel tank is leaking at all anytime you should contact ims. They have a great customer service dept to help out with any questions or issues. I remember when kf members grouped together to urge ims to manufacture the 09 klx 3.0 tank, and it took a minute but it happened. I’ve been a ims customer since 85 and have never not been satisfied with their product or customer service.

Yes I did. I'm mostly wondering if there might be other users here to compare the situation with. I'm going to run it as long as it's not leaking.
