IMS to consider tank for the 09 generation bikes!

Punkenduro - you also have the unibiker rad guards on there too, don't you? Any issues with fit between the guards and tank?
Maninthesea - there's several others around here with the tank on an '09. The choke lever issue can apparently be dealt with either by holding it (because it won't fully open), cutting the **** so it passes the petcock, or maybe changing the petcock to a different unit. I think redpillar has a little writeup here or on ADVRIDER.
Here's where my order is pending:

you are correct there.

I did something very similar. I put a rear rack on mine, and bolted a Pelican case to it,
then I bolted a Rotopax mount to the top of the case and I have a 1 gallon can on top.
Its a bit tall, but not too bad, I can notice it there, but its not effecting the handling all that much really.

I ultimately want more also, I hate having to stop and fillup that often, even if I do have the extra gas with me.
I have had my eye on the Acerbis also, I would rather keep the stock look, but in the end, functionality will be more important.
Saw the mods on here about changing the way the fual lines run, and adding a small fuel pump to them, seems to make them very useful.
Interested to see how your install goes.
