You'd better ask them if they intend to build one that accomodates the fuel pump for the EFI bikes.

My email to Chuck had EFI all over it. God knows I am dreaming...Saving my pennies for a KTM 690 now that we have a new importer, provided the better half stops buying new cars and building new houses!

After a couple of plated two- smokers it's easy to like the kool-aid. This is what my KLX replaced. An '03 200EXC with a tag.

In all fairness this KDX220r was plated in Florida too

Hey buzztail, where in Flatistan are you at?

Second, why did you replace your smoker with a klx?

Edit: Ha, I just saw the FYYFF sticker on the kdx, I remember you posting that on the adv site for sale and I offered my klx as a trade
but I backed out and kept the klx....So you did end up getting a klx...funny stuff....from what I remember you are over in the panhandle.

FM, I'm in Tallahassee. That KDX walked out of my garage one afternoon. Never to be seen again I bought the KTM as a replacement, but it just wasn't the same bike in the woods the Kawi was. Too twitchy, too pipey, too much of a light switch... I figured there was no way I was going to find another plated KDX in FL so I traded the KTM for my '09 KLX just to have something to play with.
I like the KLX in the woods, but it ain't no KDX220...

Damn, sorry about the theft...thieves suck. I'm surprised you didn't like the 200 ktm smoker, but I have only ridden the xc-w version...adjusting the power valve was all that was required, but the smoker exc I know nuthin about.

And it never will be, but a 351 jug, exhaust and porting the head Really helps ... add a fcr 35 too and well its a lot better...but it is still a pig.

Edit: Oh I'm in Jupiter .... do you ever ride in ONF scrub with the adv sand fleas?

The 220 was just easier to ride in the woods. The KTM needed to be ridden at a race pace to be happy.

I do ride with some of the Fleas. A couple times a year during the camp and rides we do.

Now where is my big tank so I can park the DRZ for awhile

I emailed Safari afew weeks ago on the 09 klx and the fi huskys. The comment back was they would forward my email to the manufacturers, and that they had a tank in the works for the fi huskys.

Looks like they came thru on the husky part.

Now if some 09 klx owners would contact safari too......
