Improved KLX330S Exhaust
Awesome mod! I love a good workaround. I will be welding up a test version to add to my Hillbilly Customs Closet Rod Muffler Mod on my OEM 250 silencer (See recent post). Thinking you could make a couple that could be swapped for different conditions/altitudes/neighborhoods. With the EZ-Just mixture screw I can dial in for whatever mixture change is needed.
Add some rpm to the math:
250cc @ 10,000 rpm = 20 litres per second
351cc @ 10,000 rpm = 29 litres per second
And you still think the factory air box as-is will flow a much air as your engine wants @ 10K rpm? The air box and snorkel are there to protect the filter; they're not a performance part of the induction system
