I've seen Moto Pro, Cogent, and Race Tech.
Race Tech had a spring rate calculator. The others may too. The little shop I told you about helped me with selection and ordered them up for me. They also installed Gold Valves in the forks for me. Sometimes its better to just call the manufacturer and talk it over with them. Others here have posted that the Moto Pro fellow was very helpful.

Guys - appreciate the help. I am starting to get it through my thick skull. Same question as whyzee? I am more concerned about the rear right now. How much would a new spring cost?

My problem is that i dropped a full exhaust, jet kit, sprocket, etc and its adding up. I am going to get some new tires, and put some miles on it then swap out for a 351. Issue being that I could have probably went for a more expensive enduro and not dropped 100's-1000's into this $4300 2010 KLX250s

I think I paid around $100, maybe a little less.

Yep, that's about the norm. Eibach is also a spring source, and that's what I went with. The Eibach is for the 300, but it works fine for the '06/'07 model 250S. I wonder if there's really any difference in the spring and shock lengths in the '09 and later models? Anyone know for sure?
