Exclamation I already asked this question?

I was wondering if all the old post get deleted after time?
If so is that to save drive space on the server?
It sucks if old post are deleted because lots of helpful info is getting lost..
maybe put a donate button or sell shirts, hats exc..to earn money to buy more bandwidth and disk space.....

just my thoughts

Thanks, Bryan

Hang on, I'm gonna try something. In the KLX 250 section there should be a button to go to the first post from October of 05. Let me see if its there. If it is, then most likely everything is still here.

DANG!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Everything from last month back is gone I'm gonna get to the bottom of this ASAP!!! I'll let you know what I find out. That's at least for me a huge historical part of my bike and memories. Its a good thing I don't cuss, but in my mind it sounds pretty bad right now.

Now wait a minute, hold the phone, let's all calm down, I went to the KLX 250 section again, and clicked on this link.

https://www.kawasakiforums.com/forum...ad.php?t=17815

And then on this one....

https://www.kawasakiforums.com/forum...ead.php?t=5019

And I looked at the date and its still there. That was a report I did from July of 06. So I think stuff is still somewhere its just not showing up in the current pages. I'll send Patrick a pm to this thread and see if he has any good news.

I sent a pm to Patrick, but I did another test and put in "hard starting" in the search box and it came up with 429 pages the oldest one being this page.

https://www.kawasakiforums.com/forum...=Hard+starting

So I think everything is still there, its just archived on another partition or server. Give the search feature another try, but I would like to be able to go back to the first page of a section, again its history for me since I was the first one on the site with the KLX.

DeeJ, in user cp, you can change how old to go back to threads. You can set it to 30 days, 100days, or unlimited. etc..... set it to unlimited and it goes back to the first post on KF.
