I left my bike stock to keep the mileage up. If I ever uncork it, it will be after I buy a bigger gas tank.

trust me, i know palomar VERY well, i was talking more that black canyon road. in that area i know east and south grade palomar, rice canyon, couser canyon from car runs, nate from the bike. ill have to look up black canyon and see if i have driven it before and not known it.
Finally got to this one. Took me about 3.5 hours. Stopped for gas to complete the 108 mile loop. Good thing, because I drove 133 miles total. Black Canyon Road was ok. I mean it's a graded 10 mile dirt road through the back country. Nobody back there. Not sure if I ever need to do it again. I enjoy climbing 5000ft up Nate Harrison alot more. Oh well. Need to scout out another route now that this one is off my list. Crappy cellphone pics below.
