laughter emits from iowaguy........you guys are sick. oh wait, i'm right there with you.
anyways, i called kustom kraft and spoke to a real nice guy. he told me all about the 331 kit, how they have done like 7 250S and tons for 300's and said I would be really happy with the result. he said they use JE pistons which he claimed were forged and better than a Wiseco. he sounded real knowledgeable too. he said about 2-2.5 weeks turnaround time. I will ship it out there sometime at the first of April or so. My b-day is April 24 so it would make for a perfect gift imo.

That would be Marvin - very nice guy and great communication, e-mail or phone. He called me up a few weeks back just to check on how I was liking my kit. I have absolutely no reservations recommending Kustom-Kraft.

well, it's now official. I am no longer planning to sell my KLX. Lastnight, Matt so graciously sold me ONE of his 300cc cylinders. Matt says it's in the mail. I'm really looking forward to eventually by spring having it bored to 330 and really waking the bike up. Then, in spring '08 I will go with a pumper carb. Anyways, I'm pretty excited I took advantage of Matt's offer. This really is something I should've done last summer. Anyways, it's a great feeling. I do believe he still has one big jug left for anyone interested. I'm sure he'll make you a great deal if you're interested.

Glad to hear that you are staying in thebrotherhood. I missed the post office todaybut I promise you that cylinder will be in the mail tomorrow shipped and insured as agreed. And yes I do have one more 300 cylinder w/ OEM piston, rings and pin. PM me if anyone is interested. Otherwise I will be listing it on ebay in the near future.
