Default As i have lowered my klx 250

The seat height of 89cm from the ground of my KLX for mè were a bit much,
after having pulled the fork legs, the situation has not changed much.
On the Internet I found the levers for single-and allow me to lower it to about 3 cm, but at a price that ranged from a minimum of $ 70
to a maximum of € 120.
The price seemed too much for two pieces of iron so I decided
to build on my own.
After doing some tests with a piece of iron to find the right fit I've made of stainless steel thus solving the problem of rust.

In the first picture you can see the project in its initial phase.

Here in roughing using a hyper numerical control

This is the final result, the flow rate from 89cm to about 86cm.

Overview other equipment.

Please excuse my English

You are now the source for lowering/lifting links in Italy. Nice work.

careful you don't bottom the tire into the fender because links lower but don't reduce travel

To avoid this, I increased the preload on the spring.

I lowered mine 1 inch
but here you can buy them for $30 USD so pretty cheap to get

I also adjusted the forks 1 inch too so it sits level

I found after riding for a month or two I was hearing weird noises, found I needed to add preload to the shock too

I was bottoming out too much on that chain roller

Made a video

Great job Phantom, I love it when people make their own stuff.
