The tire may be tubeless but your rim is not, you need the tube.

I've got about just over 500 miles on the new tires now and they're smooth now! Love 'em!

Those tires are the answer to not having an SM wheel set.
When I have those on I ride the twisties at least 10mph faster.
They make the S into a canyon carver.
